Are you sure???? Our water is super hard and I don't trust my carbon to take out all of that without harming my turtle.

Why is the conditioner bad, Steve? Could you give me link to the thread or something? I want to read up on it. =)

It describes how carefully it needs to be handled and that it can be toxic and harmful to aquatic life.

I use white vinegar to clean the tank from mineral deposits! I clean my turtle shell with vinegar too!
