Scarlett, is in a 40 gallon tank with about 20 gains of water preset turtle heater and a turtle filter for up to 30 gallons. Her substrate is sand. She has a basking lamp, a UVB, a UVA and a night time lamp, her basking dock is natural rock, with ample basking room. Scarlett is eating, baking and acting normal, her shedding is also normal. My concern is two days ago I found a pink flesh like substance in her tank laying on the sand, I cleaned her tank, while she was eating in her feeding tank. Today I found the substance again but she had no injuries, her shell is not damaged. Any ideas what the substance could be?
