General Care Discussion :: Night light for turtley?

Should I have a night light for turtle maybe one of those red night lights. Right now he's in the dark. Also we have the basking ramp rock that you buy at pet smart.. It has quite a bit of algae on it I've tried scrubbing it off, turtle doesn't eat it or anything should I just get a new one?

No night light. The darker it is, the sooner they'll sleep. Do make sure that you're using a good water heater.

What brand basking area is it?

About the rock, I used to have the tan one. It got very green... I bought a dark platform the next time! My turtles never got sick from the rock, you should be ok.

Thank u much no night light it is I have a good water heater stays around 78-80 at all times basking area is 93-95 the basking rock is just a lil log floating ramp thing you buy at pet smart it does the trick in my other post I have a pic of him basking...
