So my mother finally let me raise water level, and the old way of basking won't work anymore, because it would be underwater, so how can I make a basking area with only those three materials at the top of the tank if possible?

Is that wood resting in-between the rim's bevel? You'll need a ramp and the yellow might not be enticing.

Thank you Steve, but that's not what I meant, anyways, I think making the water level go up was a bad decision because without a basking area, she didn't rest, so today right now, she seems very tired, as if wanting to give up swimming. What should I do?

She's 7.5 inches from top to bottom. I will check that out. Thank you steve.

I might just lower it back until you have it sorted out. Have you thought about cork bark for the tank?

I have though, but I don't know where to find it, and some look expensive, but I'll see.

What's the width of your tank? Smaller pieces are usually reasonably priced. They're also completely natural and safe to use in the tank.

Found a solution Steve, thanks. I might with the cork bark idea maybe later on. All I need now is an UVB.

If you get a compact UVB (CFL), you can use standard light fixtures. A lot of people like to use a combo dome if the are using a CFL and an incandescent or halogen.

Ah, she's giving you the Superman pose of approval. You really don't want that wood in the tank though.. tile will work. You might want to consider a "wall" if you want to keep this layout for awhile.

A simple acrylic barrier, sort of what they make for ATBAs. I'll try to dig for a pic when I get a chance.
