Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

Hi
In recently got a new turtle and when I got it, he had a black spot on his shell. I assumed little of it and decided to let it heal on its own.

I recently checked him again, about 2 weeks later, he has regular behavio, he eats, swims like my other turtles and doesn't seem the slightest bit lethargic. However, the small black spot is now white with a black lining around it. It also goes down by a fraction of a millimetre (estimate).
What could it possibly be and how do I treat it?
Thanks!

Sounds like potential fungus. Could you please post a picture, and describe your setup? That would help us!
