But my turtle literally does that every time I have my hand on her shell near her butt... Once I saw her like trying to touch a hard surface, like she was trying to scrub her shell, So I did it for her and when I did it she started moving her buttock up and up (twerking like movement). I found it funny.. LOL It happened when I brought them (I have two RES, one is the one twerking and another one runs away if I try to scrub his shell with soft brush) to the yard...
Since then, my turtle will twerk every time I got my hand on her shell near her butt..
She's shedding... I just scrub softly using soft brush, sometimes my fingers... Just to make sure the scute that isn't ready to fall off doesn't fall off.. 
She seems to like it, I'm just curious about her twerking.. hehe though I love it..
