I have a 1.5 year old Western Painted turtle. His shell seems to be looking a bit off.... Currently I have a Reptisun 5.0 UvB bulb on him...

But also, in my closet I have a brand new one of these I was storing. I've had that bulb above in for 5 months. I am wondering if I should put this bulb in now? What should I do or is there nothing wrong with his shell?

What's off about the shell? How much water is in the tank? I think the UVB should probably be changed soon.
