So today I noticed my female on the dock today after changeing the tank form a temporary 20 gal to permanent 90 gal 3 days ago

So my female was on the dock for half an hour then it started to stick her head in her shell a few times then started to walk around in circles
My male was also basking and wasn't doing that he was just still

Its a little bit hot in the house im not sure if it was the heat

Maybe she was just adjusting to the temperature. Do you have any temp readings?

I do have some temps but they changa alot in the morning the tank temp is 78 but in the afternoin its 85... I dont have a heater. For there dock I kinda got a ruff estimate by useing the water thermometer it said in the morning it was around 87 byt then later is said 98 so I turned of there lamp. I flet her when she started acting funny she flet warm. She is acting normal right now

I was referring to the basking temperature. 85 is a bit high for water temps. Can you post a picture of your setup?

Alright, let us know if there any issues. You might have to review how things are setup in the tank once you get a hang of the basics.
