It is getting frustrating. I moved the turtle to different tank and it still does the same every 3-5 seconds for 5-15 mins

So it'll stop after a few minutes? And it starts up once he goes into the water?

No he's always in the water but stop once in a while

The tank where it is right now doesn't have a platform to bask. The other tank does have a platform but it rarely goes on there

Your turtle needs a place to rest. Could just be its tired. I have fake plants at the waters surface that my turtles spend lots of time in just resting.
1 Male Mississippi Map/Mississippi
1 Female RES/Slidy.
1 DBT White Concentric Female/ Lucky
1 DBT Male/ Spots
(Housed in the same tank)

300 gallon indoor stock tank, FX6 & FX5 filters. Mega-Ray 100w UVB bulb.

It's not about the platform. Before I moved to its new place, there was a platform and it still try to bite the water
