What can happen? This was yesterday, I forgot to lock the basking area.

He hasn't eaten today but he has gone without eating before.

Basically, wha possible complications am I looking at?

Worst case scenario would be broken bones or other internal injuries. Shell cracks and chips can happen when the fall is on a hard surface (tile, concrete). Sometimes gravid females want to desperately get out of their tank.

I don't think she was trying to get out
I forgot to lock the basking station and when she comes out to eat and climbs out of the bowl she loses orientation, happens almost every time. And this basking setup is new to her.

Total idiocy on my part. I will be much more careful
