Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

Toku is doing great. His colors are nice and bright. He hopes on his basking log every morning when the MegaRay comes on. I bought a Koi fish and put it in his tank, he chased it for a few days then finally gave up and leaves the koi alone. Beautiful yellow color, I really like this fish. I also moved Eddie our 7 yr. old Pleco into Toku's tank. He is too big for the 55 gal. Cichlid tank I still have, they are still going strong after 7 yrs. Toku went to investigate him and as soon as Eddie moved Toku took off in the other direction, lol. I continue to monitor them to make sure they get along, so far all is good. The Chinese algae eaters are doing good in his tank.

Boba is doing very well, he has grown to over 2 in. and is eating lettuce and frozen shrimp, beef heart and bloodworms. I will introduce pinkies when he gets a bit bigger. He swims very fast for his size and when I walk in the living room for the first time of the day he is basking under his lights on the basking platform. When he is scared he will bury himself and only poke his head out to investigate his surroundings before coming out of the sand. I really like this turtle and his personality. He knows the hand that feeds him lol. That will change when he gets bigger and starts biting tho! I hope everyone in college had/haves good finals:) mine went great;)
