So Mr. Tesla is doing good as far as I can tell. He's very active and I feed him pellets every other day and lettuce every day (when I remember to, anyhow... ugh). I got tight on money for a while, so I had to hold off on getting stuff for tank cleanings... I just cleaned his tank today though with new filter pads for his Fluval FX5. Yay. He's been living in my apartment with my boyfriend for a year now. Moving the tank sure was fun!
Right now I guess I am not necessarily worried, but I am curious as to why his shell never seems to want to shed at a good rate. By that, I mean that he seems to shed very slowly.

Still worried about these clear scutes... Will they ever go away? These were here when I got him.

Is it diet? Water? New bulb? (Next paycheck I am getting him a new one, as it has been 6 months...) I also think he may be pyramiding slightly, so I better watch his proteins more carefully.
