i want to no if my 4 inch male RES will try to mate with my 7 inch female RES

Most likely. Adult males and females can be pretty aggressive, so it's not a good idea. Female egg-laying is also very difficult for captive RES. They're also heavily over-populated, so I would not suggest it.

yea i didnt want them to so i really had no choice but to get a seperate tank for them it was expensive but worth it and my friends female is shaking her claw in front of the males isnt it suppose to b the other way around

Females can do it when it's a territorial issue. I really hated separating my turtles but there was no choice if I wanted to keep both of them.
