General Care Discussion :: Sleeping on his dock suddenly?

My turtle has been sleeping on his dock lately. It's making me worried because he's never done this before, and our house is usually about 60 degrees in the winter. I'm wondering if I should get a different heat bulb, like a red one so I can run it at night too? I don't want him to get sick, and I'm baffled by the sudden change in behavior. Nothing in his environment has changed, his water temp has decreased slightly, but is still around 76 and substantially warmer than his dock at night. Thoughts?

If there are no other symptoms, I'd just leave him be. It's not unusual for them to act a little weird, especially this time of year.

One of my new babies does the same thing. Im not concerned turtles will be turtles.
