General Care Discussion :: Floaters from Jack

Right after cleaning Jack's tank, I always notice clear things floating around in the water almost immediately. Then I notice they come from Jack. When I put him back in the water all these clear things came out from his armpits and leg area. Some are a pretty good size. What the heck are they?

He may be shedding his skin. Search the forum for "shedding skin", I've read somewhere that warm water may be a cause.

Yup, it sounds like shedding skin to me too.

The exact same thing just happened with my little guy. I notice it mostly coming off of his neck and chin and a little on his legs, but I'm only able to see it when he's under the water. Someone also mentioned to me that my water my be too warm.
