General Care Discussion :: why is my female red eared slider doing this

hello my female red eared slider is gravid i thought she was a male for the past 3 days i had her but i found a egg in her tank and put her in the nesting box for the day everytime i put her in there she buries her self only thing i see is top of her shell is this normal and ok please help

also how long should i keep her in the nesting box and than in her tank than back to nesting box thanks

She is just cold or sleepy.
