How's the mark on the female doing?

The only change I've seen, is that the Female's mark got a little lighter in color. This picture was taken a few hours ago.

both of those are shell rot, sounds like the male's is well on its way to being cured. They can cure themselves by just being in a clean stress free environment. Sometimes, if they continue to get worse, removal of the necrosis is necessary.

Yeah--the male only has one of those injuries left; the other was able to finish closing itself up by this afternoon, and his natural plastron color is returning. Hopefully, the female will cure herself sooner than later--as I noted earlier, it's gotten a little lighter in color. That's good, right?
