General Care Discussion :: my turtle laid 3 eggs !!!

hello
african side neck
laid 3 eggs 2 laid a week one one egg made it and one egg laid tonight all eggs were only in water for 15mins maybe less
2 of the eggs are in bucket foot long 5inches across with top soil just soil temp 80f
i need to know what else should i do please help asap

Basically you did all you can do. Just got to make sure the soil stays moist. Also if your using a bulb to heat the soil make sure eggs are covered by the soil as you will actually cook the eggs. Radiant heat from a heat source will heat eggs more than the air temperature around them. That's why its better to actually look into a real incubator.
