It's possible your two larger are female and the other male. Based on what I've seen of my son's female that has grown quickly despite a restricted diet once I found this site, I suspect that even young females grow quickly.

As long as all are healthy and eating, I would not worry about differences in growth.

As to shedding, Tobi is also in need of a good shed. She hasn't shed since February and its starting to show. She eats blueberries, which she gets about once every two weeks. I've also added the occasional Hikari pellets with wheat germ and changed the basking light, even though it was less than 4 months old. I really want to get her outside for some real sun, but it hasn't been that warm on the weekends or sunny recently.

I'm open to any suggestions others offer in this thread.

I'd be wary of wood that can be splashed by water, unless it is well sealed with something that will be turtle safe. I think wood on the side can be ok, but I'd try to figure out something else for the bottom.

Taking them out can't hurt. If they all eat, it may not be necessary, but it's not a bad idea. Just keep an eye on the smaller one for any health concerns, but I think it will be fine.

Why does it have to shed? It'll happen naturally, don't force it.
