While cleaning the tank, I cracked a corner of the tank and it drips now. I don't have time at all this week to go out and find a new one. I have them in their originally really small cases that they came in chinatown with. They are really small still (~2 in). How long can they go without the filter, heater, basking light, etc.
Please help

can you put them in the old tank and just not fill it up to the crack? if not perhaps you can rig up a tupperware container until you have free time this weekend or whenever... those are the first ideas I had, good luck

How big is the crack and which corner is it? Depending on the size of the crack, you might be able to silicon it as a temporary solution.

Do you have time to pick up a rubbermaid container. It doesn't have to be anything fancy, just a temporary solution. I'm not worried so much about lighting and filter as I am heat. If your turtles are still quite small they are more prone to catching illnesses related to cold or inconsistant water temps.

Get a 50-gallon Rubbermaid or Sterilite storage container to use until you find something more permanent.
