QUICK QUESTION!

is it normal for a red eared slider about 3 inches, to close one eye while basking then when approached open it with no problem.he doesnt rub his face or anything and his eyes dont seem to bother him.
should i be worried???

Yes, that sounds perfectly fine. They like to relax and close their eyes while basking. As long as it's not closed a lot of the time it's normal.

naw,but i heard of people's RES'S that do that and its usually a sign of eye infections!

I think when his eye is closed he's still able to see some movement (and feel any vibrations), that's why he opens it when he's approached. I've never heard of what you described as being a sign of an eye infection.
