Can you post a picture of the shells?

How many times have they shed in the year and half that you have owned them? I've had mine about the same amount of time and mine have never shed.

What is your water and basking temps? Temps that are too high can leave to excessive shedding and too fast growth.

How much have they grown in the year and a half you've had them? My RES, who is older (4+ years), has shed once this year. My painteds, who are younger (almost two years) shed once, and some of them look like they're getting ready to shed again. Younger turtles (who are growing faster) will tend to shed more frequently than adults.

Can't see much from the second pic. The first and third pics are of the same turtle? The turtle/s in those pics really need/s to shed some scutes. (In the first pic, will the two in the backcome off if you gently lift them? If you meet with resistance, don't force them off.) I don't see anything other than that (the shedding).

the first and third is the same turtle, but this one is the one whos shedding the most. the shell do come off if i gently take them off, but i dont think its a good idea. so is the shedding process normal?

The shedding process is normal. It just means your turtle is growing.

If any scutes are that loose that they'll come that easily, I'd help them off (just the ones that are really ready to do so).

It is normal for all turtles to shed their shell periodically. Mine does it about once every year & a half. Large thin layers of shell will literally be sticking off and can easily be peeled with your fingers. Before this happens though, my RES's shell will turn a gray color (but it doesn't look unhealthy or rotting.....the shell is still very shiny, just turns a gray color). Sheba stays gray for about 6 months, then off go the layers of shell, revealing a new and more beautiful Sheba underneath!
