I just cleaned my turtle's tank, and about an hour later, when I went to check up on him, I found his poo floating around. Normally, I wouldn't have minded, but his poo was an icky gold-ish brownish colour. It was smushed up...kinda like diarrhea. So I was wondering if I should take him to a vet. If there's something I can do myself, to help him, I'd appreciate your advice. Because I don't get allowance, but I do have money saved up for the vet, but I'd like to take him to the vet when he really really needs to. So thanks a lot for all the help you guys have given me! (:

Those Reptomin pellets and I left lettuce floating around, and sometimes pears and bananas.

Skip the pears and bananas. If you're going to give some fruit, try a bit of apple or cantelope, for example. Don't give a lot when you give it, and don't feed fruit very often.

Marisa is right! Fruits have a lot of sugar, and it's hard for turts to proccess that. I would skip feeding him anything else today, so his stomach can settle down. Tomorrow I would give a few pellets, and see how he does. Keep his water VERY CLEAN, since diarrhea can cause dehydration, and he might drink more of his tankwater than usual.
