Ironic that this should happen while I'm on this site...I just got a phone call from a friend and he was telling me about his turtles. He has a male and a female, just like me, and the male decided to fan his business in the females face. So then Lois(the girl) bit Clarkes(the boy) penis! Has this happened to anyone before, or should my friend take Clarke to the vet?!

P.S there is minor bleeding

It's been known to happen. He should take him to the vet as soon as he can.

Jenaero is right. Have your friend take the turtle to a vet. If there is bleeding, the turtle is susceptible to infection.

Don't worry, my friend took him to the vet a while ago. Apparently there must be a big que, because he hasn't come back yet.

Your friend should be getting a separate tank as well...hopefully the male will recover.

Sorry for the late reply, I went to go see a movie last night. So, yea the vet told my friend to keep him in a seperate tank and to apply some kinda ointment(sorry, don't know what it's called) to the area twice a day, and to keep him dry for an hour after each appliance of the ointment.
