:!: My baby turtle (about 2 inches) yawns while he's basking.. it looks more like heaving as if he is about to throw up. While he's floating his backside floats up more than the rest of him.My 7 year old RES never did this and i am very worried. Any Ideas? is it RI? please respond

thank you!

Theres a bubble on his nose that he keeps swatting at,too. He also leans off of his basking area in order to dip his head in the water.

I don't know what your water temp is, but you should bump it up to around 80 to 82. The extra heat will help fight off infection. In the meantime, you are going to want to get him to the vet. There are a list of vets on the urgent care page. Best to pick on who knows more about turtles.

Are there any other symptoms, like difficulty swimming and eating?

It does sound like RI, a vet visit should be arranged ASAP.
