Are you using a water heater? Yes
How much water is in there? 10 Liters
Are you using a water conditioner? No
Are you using any filtration? No
What is the basking temperature? No idea
Is there a basking light? Yes, recently
Is there a basking platform that is easy to climb on? Yes, not very easy to climb, because it is a floating platform
What kind is it or what is it made out of? Floating
Is there a UVB light? No
What have you been trying to feed it? Yes
When was the last time your turtle ate? 3 days
How big is the tank/pond/enclosure? Medium Size, quite large for its size
Is the tank near a window? Yes
Is the tank in a room with a lot of activity? No
Have you read the Basic Care section? Yes
Have you searched the forums for similar situations? Yes
Is there any other unusual activity/symptoms? Sleeps all day

Okay so it is winter here in Lebanon and the weather is quite cool. However after 2 days that I got her I have put a water heater and heated the water since I have noticed that she barely moves. The same day I heated the water she ate 2 small shrimps that I bought from the pet store. Since then she hasn't ate, she keeps sleeping all day with her mouth on the basking platform and her body in the water. She does not swim loopsided at all. There are some bubbles sometimes next to her nose but they do not look like mucus. I am really scared it could be RI and there are no reptile vets in my country, at all! Respiratory Infection antibiotics are however available. What should I do? Can she be administered antibiotic if she is not sick? She sleeps all day but when i wake her up she moves a bit, then sleeps again. Thank you!
