Urgent Care :: white gooey slime from mouth HELP!

Hey everyone I'm new to turtles and I have noticed a white goo on the corner of my turtles mouth. Some times its a little and mornings it seems to get a little worse. Is it normal and if not what can I do to correct this issue.

Does it show up after a long bask or time out of water? Any other symptoms?

Yeah when she's basking I notice it sometimes its alot, and also when she's in the water I notice it, its the same goo but almost stringy.

And no other symptoms she is still very active and eats regularly.

What are your water and basking temperatures?

Not sure about basking temp but water is at about 78.

I might bump up the temperatures a little. How long has she had this condition?

She's had it since I got her.

It's not normal if its a continual issue, so I would keep a close eye on the situation.

I can't think of a specific technical term. Dried mucus might show up when they are dry and out of the tank for awhile, but I don't see it happening often.

That's happening to my RES too.
