My red ear sliders just got into a fight, one bit the others nose tip off, right above the nostrils, but not the nostrills. This guys is 21 years old.

My Vets are closed today...how bad is this in reality and what can I do to help this guy out?
Enclosed is a pic... does he need to see a doctor as well?

Right now I have him dry docked, and applied anti biotic ointment, he is not in shock and walking around.
When I touch the wound, he does not flinch, and seems to be unaffected.

Not sure what to do from here, any help would be great.

Poor guy... I think you've done the right things so far. Keep him in a quiet dry dock area if possible... anything to keep it as stress free as possible.

I found a vet open, he cauterized the wound and this little guy in now on anti biotics....

How's the patient doing?

ouch! poor guy! Doesn't look too bad, hope he makes a full recover.

I hope he is feeling better.
