Hi. I was in a park on a photoshoot & my client almost stepped on a baby red-earred slider. It was pretty far from the lake in the park. I took the turtle home and purchased a nice tank, etc for it. However...it has become more and more apparent that I am not going to be able to keep the turtle. I am aware that releasing the turtle back into a lake is not an option. I also do not wish to give it to someone that is not aware of how to care for this type of turtle properly. I would like it to find a forever home. I am unable to find an email address to the CTTC Inland Empire Chapter as I do not have Outlook at it does not list email address or other contact information on the website. Can someone pleaseeee help me to find "Tucker" a good home.
Thank you,
Nicole

Their size can be deceptive for age. You can try to age it by looking on the underside and see if you can noticeably make out growth rings. Each ring is apx 1 year. I found a YBS the other day that was small in my eyes but was about 3+ years old. Therefore it has already been living on its own and knows how to survive.
