Hello,
I have 3 RES that are all about 4 inches in diameter. One turtle has puffed up . His skin is all white. He moves around but does not eat. He is separated from the other ones. The other two are doing fine.

How long has the turtle been puffed up? (The bloating is in all his extremities?) Does the puffiness "move," meaning if you tilted him head downward, for example, would the bloated areas shift?
I would take him to a herp vet, the sooner the better. There's a sticky for locating one at the top of the forum if you don't know of one. Let us know what happens...

Poor little thing

He doesn't look good. I would definitely take him to the vet, like you said. Keep us posted about his condition. The only thing I can think of is that it looks like a picture of Septicemia that I've seen. But I'm no expert. Good luck.

What are those red marks .. is that blood? I'm wondering if the problem isn't just that your turtle is extremely overweight. Can he pull his head or legs in?
It's a good thing that you're taking him to a herp vet .. please keep us posted on what's up.

With the bloating, I'm wondering if kidney problems aren't involved...
