Hello,
Name ANAN
SIZE: 4 inches
Sex: dont know
Water: 75 degree
Basking: Yes

My Res ANAN he keep trying to vomit ( like 3-4 time a day) but nothing come out . He use to do that during feeding time then all the pellet come out (i think that because he never chew his pellets), but now he do it more often even not during feeding time. He usually do it under water and all I see is air coming out ( bubbles). He use to eat a lot, but these few weeks he had eating little pellet that i gave him, not as active as before (usually chasing my finger around) but he still bask, swim normally, and still eat (just not as much) but he just sleep more often.

please tell me if there anything wrong with him.

Thank You

Justin

Sounds like he is getting sick. What is basking temps? Do you have filtration? For now try to bump up the water temps to 80 and the basking temps to 90. The increased temps will help his immune system. Keep watch for other symptoms.

I guess i should try to increase his temperature and see what happen. My room is colder then other room during winter. Hopefully he will be Ok.

I am just thinking that he might got something stuck in his throat. is that possible?

Anything is possible. If it gets worse go to the vet. Keep an eye out for RI symptoms as well. Mucus out of the water. Tilted swimming (side to side) coughing, gasping, closed eyes and lethargy.

have you considered a RI? there are other posts on RIs and it's symptoms, RIs are common and maybe it's trying to breath and not throw up….

Sorry for the late respond anan is doing fine now he back to normal, but another problem, he seem like alittle eyes inflamed. Or puffy eyes. Giving him eyes drop for 1 day already hope he will recover soon.
