what do i do!?[/b]

Both lights should be on at the same time between 10-12 hours a day. Many people use two clamp lights aimed at the basking area and set the lights on timers. Your turtle needs both of these lights since they do different things, UVB rays helps absorption of calcium to prevent bone and shell disease while the heat light helps him to regulate his internal temperature and aids in digestion of food. Find another fixture to be able to leave both on at the same time.RESCHIU wrote:I'm still a bit confused about 12 hours lighting, do you mean 12 hours of UVB is minimum? or it can be mixed between UVA and UVB?(I have both, one give just UVA and another one has 30%UVA and 10%UVB)
should I use the one with UVB for 12 hours? problem with that one is that I only have one light clamp so if I use UVB, my turtle couldn't get warm enough, so I had to change in between, sorry but I'm still confused and just want to make sure...
