I have a bit of a situation. I am trying to help someone take care of their turtle so we got it a new bigger tank and a filter and are waiting on a lamp but I noticed the turtle has pink flesh. I want to add that it also looks over weight. I did however also notice that when she is in constant movement the pink fades. The pink is only in the flesh that is in her shell, she is otherwise surprisingly active, very strong, good looking shell, eyes look healthy, just the pink on the skin that isn't always there and isn't all over her either. I was doing some research and have heard about the possibility of blood poisoning but she doesn't meet the other criteria. I'm still very concerned. I'm going to get her to a vet regardless but does anyone have any insight into this issue? Anything else it might be?
I'll post an update after we visit the vet!
