Hello i need help to.... I jus got a RES 2 days ago, 1-1.5in, and i noticed some brown spots that looks like its rotten... Im going to post a picture and please tell me if its shell rot

Hi, I would gently clean the area with a solution of hibclens and water (1:1) and dry dock throughout the day. You might have to do this for a week or two to observe any changes. Make sure that the tank is setup correctly with a good basking area and a light providing UVA/UVB. Also exclude any shrimp and shellfish in the diet and add some extra calcium.

Not really..... I clean the water every day and take it outside for natural sunlight from 1-2 hours ever day... Do you know whats wrong with the shell though?

I can't really tell anything from the pictures. But if there is a part that is infected, the treatment I described might be helpful.
