Today, we found a hacthling that is roughly 1 1/2". he appears to have a broken right arm - its bent at a strange angle. its kinda difficult to see here, but the little tyke worries us.

We own a 8 month or so old (almost 8" - I think he is being over-fed..) slider named Bruce. they seem to get along, but for safety, we put Ziggy (the baby) in a smaller tank for the night.

Just curious if this little guy will be OK.

I can't tell much from the pic... but if it's an injury, it should be looked at. If it's a deformity, it should be OK. Is the area sensitive, shows any discoloration or signs of trauma?

More pictures if you could would be helpful.

And your definitely gonna want to keep that little guy in his own tank if you plan on keeping him. Even if your other turtle is the nicest turtle in the world their size difference could cause several health risk issues for the baby.
