Urgent Care :: Power Outage

My electric went off about 4 hours ago. The tank temp is down to about 70/72° F. I have a blanket covering the top of the tank. My question is: how low can the temp get before I have to worry? My other option is putting him in a plastic travel container with a moist towel and taking him to my mothers house. And maybw putting that on a heating pad.

70 is probably the lowest I would keep him in the water. What's the room temp? Do you still have hot water or does your stove fire up?

The room is staying a steady 62°. All of my appliances are electric. The only hot water I have is what is sitting in the hot water tank now.

I think the heating pad plus dry dock in a container might be the most efficient option right now.

I ended up packing the turtle and myself up, and going to my mom's. I brought a plastic shoe box container. I filled it up with warm water.
