I have a female red eared slider, four years old. I'm normally use too feeding her enough and I know her limits well. Today I had given her a bath and cleaned her tank thoroughly, left the water semi-warm so she'd enjoy the tempature. Like usual I fed her normal amount and almost instantly she sunk to the bottom of the tank and started throwing up excessively. Shes steady around her tank once again, still not eating. But i'm wondering if there are some precautions I should take? if anybody has any experince with this.. i'd very much appreciate some advice. = (

Did you de-chlorinate the water? Did you use any cleaners on the tank? What was she fed and how much?

What were you feeding her? When you said that she was throwing up "excessively," this implies that she has thrown up before, but that this time the amount was more than usual. Is this true?
