I have two red ear sliders.

One is doing very well with its growth but the other isn't.

I got them both as hatchlings and they live in the same tank.

They are in a 32 gallon tank with plenty of space to bask and tons of water. UVA and UVB bulbs are both there. Water temp hangs around 77 and the basking area stays between 85 - 91 degress. I feed them pellets and random veggies and on the rare occasion, some chicken.

Could anyone give me an explanation about that?

The one that isn't growing still eats and swims though.

thanks in advance

Please help my Titan!!

The only thing I can think of right now is that maybe the smaller one isn't getting his share of food. I know some of my res can be bullies and pigs when it comes to feeding time. Can you feed them separately for a while? I'd suggest doing that and weighing him weekly to see if it makes a difference.

How big are they?
