Yesterday I notice that she was swimming funny to i took out of the tank. immediately she went completely limp and appeared dead. She was completely swollen. I panicked and tried calling the emergency vet, due to the weather i guess no one answered. I put her under a heat lamp and tried blowing in her face. I know i sound crazy. about a minute of that she moved. She kept gasping for air. I did not know what else to do. Five minutes later she was trowing up and showing more signs of life. About 2 hrs later and more vomiting she seems back to her old self moving around. Today when i went to check on her she was floating to one side. Like half of her body is limp. So i took her out of the tank to see if she could walk. She walks fine however she can not swim of float right.

Can anyone help me!

Please answer the following questions so we can help you:

How big is your turtle?
How long have you had it?

What is the water temperature?
Did you use a thermometer?
Are you using a water heater?
How much water is in there?
Are you using a water conditioner?
Are you using any filtration?

What is the basking temperature?
Is there a basking light?
Is there a basking platform that is easy to climb on?
What kind is it or what is it made out of?
Is there a UVB light?

What have you been trying to feed it?
When was the last time your turtle ate?

How big is the tank/pond/enclosure?
Is the tank near a window?
Is the tank in a room with a lot of activity?

Have you read the Basic Care section?
Have you searched the forums for similar situations?

Is there any other unusual activity/symptoms?

Sounds like a respiratory infection, but we won't know until you answer all the questions. Make sure you keep her warm for now.

If she's swollen, has been vomiting and floats on one side in the water, I'd take her to a herp vet.
