Last Sunday my Turtle toolie died. what struck me as peculiar is that my other turtle (Mr Turtle) had his neck extended all the way to his top part of the shell) tiltted all the way back...the death is unknown but i felt the water and it was warm..either way..i want to know what was mr turtle doing..he isnt doing it anymore, but im curious as if this was some sort of mourning..

I wouls also like to donate mr turtle to anyone in the Houston Texas area who can adequately care for him. I feel bad knowing he is depressed and alone and I do not have the money to keep him anymore.

Mr turtle was probably overheated and you could have lost him as well.Turtles do not mourn and don't get depressed.

i believe so but either way it was so sad....then later in the day i find out a supposed family friend shot his three kids..so that sunday was a horrible day for me....

see the thing about what mr turtle was doing is that after i replaced the water and got him accomidated again he was still doing it, so does that still mean he was over heated?

Is he doing this all the time? Can you post a picture of it?

Sorry to hear about the other turtle. :(
