Urgent Care :: is it dead ?

my friend she lives behinde me she has a res just like me her mom says its dead it was runing to to the tanks sides and her dum mom did not take it to the vet this morn it was laying there not moveing and its arms wher out and so were its legs he was on his basking island and his head was on the ground and his little eyes where allmost shut she told me it was trying to lift its head up when i saw it this at five pm it did not try to lift its head up but she put it in the water it floted and looked like he was trying to open it looked like it was trying to pull in it shell she put it back on the island it looked like it was trying to open its eyes it
he is the size of qwater it is onlt a little baby

is it dead? ore is it parelized?
i have one red ear slider it is 10 months old
and i am waiting til i know if its a girl or boy to name it

TAKE IT TO THE VET, they'll be able to fix it hopefully, and next time, could you try and be a little clearer, i could barely make out what you said...

i cant take it to the vet its not mine her mom is so freken dum she wont take to to the vet to mader what we say and its not moveing any more

dont worry about the mom, get someone to drive you, and ask the vet if you can pay them back sometime, because weather or not its dead, it might not be. and the longer you wait, the less chance it has.

It's been almost 20 hours since you first posted. Has the turtle moved at all? Have the limbs become stiff?
