How big is your turtle?2.3-3 inches
How long have you had it?since august last year

What is the water temperature?78-80
Did you use a thermometer?yes
Are you using a water heater?yes
How much water is in there?about 50gallons
Are you using a water conditioner?only during last water change
Are you using any filtration?yes

What is the basking temperature?93-95 degree
Is there a basking light?yes
Is there a basking platform that is easy to climb on?yes
What kind is it or what is it made out of?its the zoo dock one http://www.redearslider.com/images/img_ ... e_dock.jpg
Is there a UVB light?yes
What have you been trying to feed it?dandalions and fluckers buffet blend for aquatic turtles
When was the last time your turtle ate?this morning

How big is the tank/pond/enclosure?55 gallons
Is the tank near a window?no
Is the tank in a room with a lot of activity?not during the day time i dont get home till 4:30 and go to sleep when the tank light goes
off

Have you read the Basic Care section?yes
Have you searched the forums for similar situations?yes

Is there any other unusual activity/symptoms? he seems to be trying to swim down but his back area is floating up and he trys and trys but starts floating up also ive noticed him having bubles come out of his mouth and lil ones from his nose has hes trying to swim under watter

That's a respiratory infection, please consult a vet quickly. Your turtle needs medication.

well he slept over night and basked a lil b4 the lights whent out and now 3day hes fine and is swimming every where and not floating up no bubbles...could he still be sick and have a respiratory problem

I have to say I really don't see anything really unusual from those videos...It's possible he had gas, which could cause the back end to rise. I'd keep an eye on him, and if the behavior returns, or if you see bubbles coming out of the mouth or nose when he's basking, take him to be seen by a herp vet.

well i was reading up on ri and noticed that some of the symptoms of RI is what my turtle was doing and the causes it says that new fish can cause this and it happened the day i put in about 10 mollys and plattys in the tank but if it was ri he would be acting the same correct????
