Urgent Care :: NEED HELP!! Shell Rot on Baby?

I have had this little guy for close to a year. It is in a 40 gallon tank with another RES female (5 inches long) and she constantly pushes him around but. I noticed a week or to ago that the left side of the little guy started to peel, I thought it was normal but I purchased Turtle Vita Shell (Shell and Skin Conditioner) & Thought that would solve the problem. Well it got a little worse and worse as time went on, then I came home yesterday to the photo above, just chunks missing. Do you think it's some sort of rot or that the larger turtle is taking bites of the little guy?!?

I dunno, but that douesn't look good. It is soft. Try dry docking for a bit. Maybe take him to the vet.

Take that turtle to vet right away or it will most likely get worse.

That's bad. Looks like bitten off too. Stop the vita shell as it does more harm than
good. I agree with the others; seek a vet's help.

First and foremost I would suggest that you separate the baby turtle from the larger one. I also agree that you should take the baby to the vet ASAP.

I think the larger turtle could be the culprit as well. Separate them and see a vet.
