Urgent Care :: One of my turtle's neck......

One of my turtle's neck has a white spot on it. At first, I thought it's just where the shell has rubbed it raw, but now it's a whitish/gray color. I'm kinda thinking that it might be a fungus. I was gonna upload a picture, but my camera isn't good, so it's blurry. So it looks like just a white spot! So how can I tell if it's a fungus or not?

I think that's something best addressed by a vet. Any sort of noticeable change in the skin should be taken to a vet, really.

A website that I found suggested using one of those Dr. Turtle sulfa products (which are only supposed to be used in an instance such as this, a real medical need!) or adding "1/4 cup aquarium salt to every 5 gallons of water". That seems high to me, but check the forum here to see if anyone else used salt.

Ok,thanks! I do have this Sulfa dip stuff for like bacterial diseases and skin stuff. I might try that, I don't know. I'm just kinda leery on the salt!

I know this an old post, but if there are more than one turtle in the tank, i'm afraid it might be aggression.
How is the turtle doing?
