Urgent Care :: White spots on shell!

We recently purchased some baby RES and noticed some white spots on one of their shells.

Here are some pics:





We tried the q-tip vinegar test that was suggested on another thread but the white spots didn't come off! Is it an infection? What should we do? Is there a specific antiseptic that you guys would recommend (and where would we be able to purchase it)?

Hard to tell.......the pictures are very poor quality

Can you take pictures of the area when dry? Do the spots look like the are spreading and do they look like they are made up of little white dots?

tell me what you think! and to respond, yes the spots are definitely spreading but they do not seem hairy or fuzzy...

any thoughts?
