How big is your turtle? About 2 inches.
How long have you had it? Since May 20th, so a little over a month.
What is the water temperature? Not high enough I'm sure. I know its supposed to be like 75 degrees so I dont turn the air condition in my apartment to keep it warm in here just for him.
Did you use a thermometer? No.
Are you using a water heater? No.
How much water is in there? Not even a gallon. (I know he needs more, his habitat is small until I can get him a new one.)
Are you using a water conditioner? Yes, R-Zilla Aquatic Reptile Water Conditioner.
Are you using any filtration? No.
What is the basking temperature? I don't know...
Is there a basking light? Yes.
Is there a basking platform that is easy to climb on? Yes.
What kind is it or what is it made out of? It's a realistic looking log that you can buy from PetCo, I dont know the brand.
Is there a UVB light? A UVA light. I'm still searching for a UVB one or one that has both UVA and UVB.
What have you been trying to feed it? I mix it up everyday (feeding him once a day) between ZooMed Aquatic Turtle Food, ReptoMin Baby, and Fluker's Buffet Blend. Every once in a while I'll give him a little piece of tilapia and when I have salad in the house, I give him lettuce until I run out/it goes bad.
When was the last time your turtle ate? About 20 minutes ago, gave him one mealworm out of the Fluker's as a treat.
How big is the tank/pond/enclosure? 2 gallons.
Is the tank near a window? No, just under his UVA light.
Is the tank in a room with a lot of activity? No. I'm the only one that lives in my apartment and I'm hardly ever home during the day.
Have you read the Basic Care section? No, but I've done a lot of online research to know that I'm doing alot of things wrong. I'm saving up money for a bigger tank, thermometer, filter, heater, all of that and still searching for a UVB lamp.
Have you searched the forums for similar situations? Yes.
Is there any other unusual activity/symptoms? He doesnt bask as often as he used to. He'll crawl under his little log thing and stick his head out and stay like that when he's chillin. He's active, he swims around lively when I let him play in my bathtub.
I notice on his shell that he seems to be turning colors. I dont know if his shell is turning brown already like I know its eventually going to or if it is some kind of serious condition. Kinda scared because I'm almost certain its my fault.

they do change their colors.. depends on the shedding process. Overall your turtle looks fine too.
