Urgent Care :: HELP My Turtle Has Eggs UPDATED

Today i felt the urge to check my turtle if she has eggs.
She has been climbing out of her tank and frantically trying to get my attention.
I read the if u put ure finger infront on her back legs, if u feel something egg shaped it means she is pregnant and needs to lay soon.
Anyway i can feel 3 eggs so far non seem damaged.
i need help with how i can get her to lay, it is soaking wet outside so i filled a large chilly bin 3/4 full with 70% dirt and 30% sand, i have put a Light above to warm the dirt and sand up. I need some advice towards what i should do.

Here's a good recent thread on the subject. Note especially the post at the bottom of the page from kimberley. There's a suggestion to resist temptation to look at the turtle while she's trying to lay and a suggestion on substrate appealing to a turtle.

Be real careful about feeling for those eggs - you don't want to accidently break one. I know you're being careful - I'm just paranoid about something bad happening when a turtle is gravid.

As soon as it's bearable outside, if she hasn't laid in the nesting box trying her in an area where the dirt is softened, like in a flower bed, and somewhat sheltered, like under some bushes.

She is very stressed out being in the chilly bin she keeps on trying to climb out as soon as i put her in there.. so just now i have put here in here tank and she is now swimming against the glass making a big racket..
here is a picture, i am also thinking about moving her to a box.. but thats if i have a suitable one..

See if you can find some of the snake bedding mentioned in the thread above. If it helps, please let us know.

Turtles do seem to like being sheltered when they lay. One turtle one here would lay underneath a big beanbag. Some have laid underneath piles of leaves. You might try piling a bunch of dead leaves in the nesting box to give her something to hide under. Also, I know you need the light right now to warm it up but once it's warm, you might try dimming the light to give her more privacy.

Nothing has worked with a dim light, i tried that over night, I am now trying with having a lid over the chilly bin with alot of leaves inside, i also add a hot water bottle to warm it up a little, i had to put some heavy items over the lid so she cant escape again, there is a small gap for oxygen, hopefully this will work i am seriously running out of ideas.
