ok, guys my gf just called me and told me one of my turtles has one of it's eyes swollen and purple, she called the vet and we were told that it's urgent. We're taking them in about an hour and a half, cause that's when the herp vet gets in. I don't have any pictures, but I'm guessing the other one may have scratched her, she told me she had put them in their other tank to get some sun, and when she finished cleaning their main tank and was going to put them in, one of them had their eye purple swollen and closed, but after she put them in the water, she opened her eye. any input would be great, if I'm not here when you write, it's probably cause I'm at the vet.

ok, no worries now, she probably just scratched it maybe it was her boyfriend -_-.............. anywho the vet gave us some meds for her eye, and she's fine now, very lively, she even bit me for the first time, and after I looked at my hand and saw the weird little mouth-shaped indentation, I was like lol

Yes, the first nip is always memorable XD

I watched my turtles very closely when they liked to tumble together, to make sure they didn't get to close to accidentally kick each other's faces/eyes. (They are always around each other, always, and if everything goes well with my current circumstances, they will love the 40 gallon I want for them).

I'm glad your turtle is doing okay
