my female 5 inch is bleeding from the left side of her shell. anytime i pick her up, she tries to walk on her left leg clings on the side of the shell and it clings onto it. i noticed its turning red and its bleeding. can i put her in the water again? do i bring her to a vet?. what do i do? :oops: :cry: :oops: :cry: :oops: :cry:

I think the vet whould be the best decision.

well atleast can i put her back in the water?. because theres all these chemicals in it and i dont want her being infected with anything

I dont know about that, all i know is that bleeding is bad!

I think that whould be best until you can get him to a vet. Hope hes ok...

I would keep her OUT of water and hold off on the bandage. Have you called the vet? I know betadine can help prevent infection. Sorry I’m not much help.

(sorry for the repost)...... I would put her somewhere warm, with blankets or something for her to hide in (like a rubbermaid container).

its not too big of a scar. its small and the vet said it will heal up just dont put her in the water
