Urgent Care :: Orange County, CA - Turtle Needs Rescue

Hi everyone. I am posting from Orange County, CA to ask for some assistance in helping a Red Ear Slider in need. A man posted the following ad to OC Craiglist in hopes of re-homing a turtle (link here):

Turtle tank with small turtle. Tank height 12 inches. Turtle about 3 inches long. Supply of turtle food included. My daughter got it from a friend and now she doesn't want to take care of it any more.

The photos speak for themselves. I am posting in hopes that someone in Orange County will read this and get this poor little guy into a safe home. The owner of the turtle lives in Mission Viejo. Welcome. Perhaps if you contacted the California Turtle and Tortoise Club www.tortoise.org someone there could help. There are different chapters for different areas in the state. I hope he finds a good home.
